Our Winter special Fig and Merlot became such a hit that we have decided to introduce it as part of our regular offering, an aged cashew cheese with sweet organic figs chopped up inside and flavoured with a rich fruity Merlot red wine. We love this cheese in winter where it can shine on a wintery cheeseboard and match perfectly with a crunchy cracker and glass of wine but it works well at any time as a fruitier, slighly sweeter offering. Delicious in a sandwich made from seeded sourdough with fresh sliced fig, rocket and scrape of vegan mayo.
